We are now stocking the PC Link, a well made and inexpensive USB to SPDIF converter. The circuitry is housed in a very small, but nice, metal box. Using the XITEL XA31 C1-1, the CS-8404-CS EP, the Philips UDA-1321, and a 11.2896 oscillator, this is a quality unit for a VERY reasonable price. The build quality is quite good, especially in light of the price.
USB input, with both optical and coaxial digital out. Plug this into a USB port on your computer, a digital cable from one of the outs into an outboard DAC and be happy! 1 year manufacturer warranty.
We have tested this unit with Windows XP and all of our systems recognized the USB device right away, loaded the drivers automatically, and it works great. However, please be aware at this price, we are NOT offering tech support. So, if you are not somewhat computer savvy, please don't buy this. This is a "no-frills" product. To keep the price down, no manual, no fancy packaging, or any extras will be sent--just the unit.
