Overview
The Blue Circle BC606 Music Bar builds upon their remarkable non-current limiting Noisehound technology as seen in the original Blue Circle BC86. The BC606 combines a superior quality hospital-grade (6) outlet power bar with carefully selected & strategically placed AC filters. The benefits of this labor are a significant reduction in AC contamination for your entire audio or video system.
To mitigate AC noise from entering the Music Bar an array of filters are deployed at the power bar's main input. This forms an electrical dam so as to isolate your precision audio equipment from external AC noise. Subsequently filter capacitors are integrated directly between the outlets so as to prevent internal leakage.
As with any power bar or accessory is only good as it's weakest point. To mitigate this concern, Blue Circle selected the exceptional Neutrik PowerCon 20A twist-lock connector for their Music Bar. This connection provides the primary AC entry point between the Music Bar and it's associated power cord. This technology provides a superior alternative to the push-in only conventional IEC AC line cord input.
In order to adapt to a wider range of customer requirements, all Blue Circle Music Bars are available with your choice of three 6ft Neutrik PowerCon terminated power cords. The standard offering includes a hospital grade power cord. For those in search of additional refinement the Music Bar can also be terminated using either of Blue Circle's ultra-pure copper braided power cords for an additional fee. These upgraded Blue Circle's power line options consist of the 14-gauge BC61 and the venerable 10-gauge BC62. These later two cords further enhance the benefits of the Music Bar while successfully doing so at a nominal cost.
For those in need of additional outlets to address current or future requirements Blue Circle offers the BC608 Power Bar. Building upon the virtues of the BC606 the BC608's nominal increase in length provides an opportunity to include (8) total outlets PLUS 33% more AC filtering!
Please note either the BC606 or BC608 are available with the upgraded BC61 & BC62 power cords for an additional fee.
