The Emerald Physics CS2 represents the future of audio in many ways: An actively biamped (BYOA - Bring Your Own Amps), DSP controlled open baffle loudspeaker with high dynamic range and full frequency spectrum reproduction. This speaker presents a huge, open, effortles, BOXLESS sound with no passive components (passive crossovers) to get in the way. With the included DSP Module, you can literally take your room's acoustics out of the equation, as well as compensate for any speaker born phase and time alignment issues. All for $2995, delivered.
TweekGeek is offering the Emerald Physics loudspeakers with the stock Behringer DEQ2496, or for an additional charge (yet to be determined) a Bolder Cable modified DEQ2496 that will take the performance of the CS2 to unprecidented heights.

The intersection of 4 important technology elements combine to transcend anything that has come before it. The power of synergy is evident in this all-encompassing design solution:
Open Baffle Dipole - Difficult to design, but no other low frequency propagation technique sounds so natural and eliminates speaker placement problems so effectively.
Studio Waveguide System - Precision directivity control and acoustic impedance matching provide outstanding imaging and sound quality. The room becomes largely non-relevant. The compression driver / 300mm waveguide generates a very wide dynamic range with very little effort.
DSP - The included digital signal processing computer controls many aspects of the loudspeaker's behavior such as amplitude response, active crossover, and time alignment with user selectable program files.
Professional Components - Ultra dynamic, low mass professional transducers effortlessly frproduce the full dyamick envelope of the music. The enormous radiating area of the twin 15" low / mid frequency drivers, operating below 1 kHz , replicates the fullness and authority of vocals and large instruments.
