| Description: | I offer here a PS Audio HCA-2 amplifier in silver finish. This amplifier has been modified in the following ways:
1) Metal transformer bolt and washer have been replaced with nylon hardware (reduces some slight upper midrange glare)
2) Input caps have been removed and replaced by Black Gate caps - this mod takes the already excellent performance up two notches. More resolution and spooky holographic imaging and soundstaging.
This amp has been a favorite of mine and is getting replaced by one that sounds only slightly better at three times the cost.
The amplifier has a 2 inch long scratch on the rear of the top cover which is lowering the selling price $100.
Shipping charge will be based on actual cost - not inflated.
