Dear friends,

After six years serving and promoting ZYX with utmost loyalty and dedication, we were dropped as the North American distributor without any advanced warning, notice, or explanations.

We never did anything behind anyone's back. Our ZYX ads have been on audiogon since six years ago, when not many people had even heard of ZYX. Our business practice (going direct, at substantial discounts) was well explained on our website for the last six years.

Frankly, we are still in a state of shock and disbelief. I understand (from what others have told me) that ZYX global agent did not want us to advertise on audiogon, and to sell direct to the end consumers. They wanted us to go through a dealer network, and not give discounts over 10% of the retail price. Of course I understand and respect a company's wish to do business however they want...but these requirements were never mentioned to us as such......we were not even given a chance to try this new approach out.

We still think of Nakatsuka san as a great cartridge maker and a good friend. If it were not for him, we would have never gotten in the audio business, and we would not have met so many good audiogoners, some of whom have visited us at our home, and have become friends.

We wish ZYX, Nakatsuka san and their global agent the best.

In all this, there is good news for you... the winner is the end consumer, you..... we are selling all our inventory of ZYX cartridges at lowest prices we have ever had (and we beat any price).

Important note: ZYX ATMOS is same as ZYX 4D....and we have plenty of it (as well as other models) in stock at fair prices to you.
