Description:

For Sale: Used but good condition Mark Levinson Red Rose M1...

Quoting directly from Red Rose's site...

"The M1 is designed to be driven from multichannel DVD players that produce 5.1 outputs. It can also reproduce two channel sources with the warmth, clarity and dynamics that are the hallmark of Red Rose Music amplifiers. Because the M1 contains only pure discrete analog circuitry, it won't be out of date as digital chips evolve.

The M1 is extremely easy to use. It has only one knob. The function of the knob is determined by six buttons, which allow the user to quickly adjust the balance of front, rear, center and subwoofer, and return the function to master volume control. The M1 has a remote control and can be used with top quality touch screen control systems like Crestron.

The M1 has four 2-channel analog inputs, two 5.1 inputs, and two 2 channel audio video inputs. Video connections are provided for both component and S video formats. The pre and power amps can be separated if the user wishes to use different amplifiers, for example, high power RRM Affirmation amplifiers to drive the left and right channels for the most demanding music and theater applications.

As you would expect from Mark Levinson and his associates, the M1 is a no-compromise amplifier for recordings of music, and can be compared with the most expensive separate stereo components for sonic quality."

The unit is in very good condition and is only being sold due to a move. Asking $1,800 obo.
